Help with our shortlist!

Evening MNetters,

I am 33w and we don't know what we're having.

This is #2 for us and we are struggling to decide on a name.

We have narrowed it down to 2 girls names but we're struggling with boys names!

The girls shortlist is:
Tabitha
Clara

The boys list so far consists of:
Benjamin
Charlie
Arlo
Ernest

We both like both girls names, just can't decide.

Your thoughts on both lists would be much appreciated, and we are open to more suggestions for boys names.

I like Tabitha and Arlo, Tabbie would be a super cute nickname. Arlo or Marlo // Marlow?

All the names are lovely, although I'm not so keen on Ernest
. I have one of your boys' names, and the other one is my fantasy second ds name!

Re. Girls' names, I think tabitha sounds a bit warmer than Clara, but they are both lovely

Tabitha is my preference although I love Clara too.

I'm not keen on Ernest and I know a little girl called Arlo and I'm not a huge lover of unisex names so I'd probably say Charlie or Benjamin from your boys list.

Ahhhh, Arthur is my new favourite from your boys list. By far.

It's so difficult because depending on where you are and who you know, everyone has different experiences of every name!

Our previous boys list from dc1 got wiped out by so many close friends having babies and using most of the names from our top 10 (about 7 got used!!)...

I really love Clara but am not keen on Tabitha, and especially not keen on the various nn for it.

I like Arlo a great deal with Arthur a close second.
