Shortlist of 6 for baby girl

Am due a daughter early in the new year and looking for opinions on our shortlist of 6 names please. Struggling a bit because DS was born v preterm so this pregnancy has been a bit stressful, anyway we are on the home stretch now so need to get whittling the list down! DS has top-10 name which we almost didn't use because of that but kept coming back to it because we loved it.

Ivy
Zara

FWIW favourites of mine that have been vetoed were Cora and Ruby.

Elsie or Ivy ...

I like Daisy but its too cutesy and altho lovely for a little girl not so much so for a 30yr old.

I know a little Ivy , whos a toddler.

Elodie is lovely and makes me think of a little ray of sunshine. Ivy is also really pretty.

Elodie or Ivy are my favs.

I like Daisy or Zara.

I know quite a few little Elsies and Ivys, so would say they are more popular where I am.

Elsie is really dowdy , Ivy is too harsh and not fussed about the other 2 .

I really really like Zara, it was on my shortlist if I had a girl.

Elodie is my lo middle name! So cute!

I also like Iris which fits with your theme and not very common.

Ivy and Zara are my favourites. (Although Cora is nicer than both!)

Elodie ...pretty, sounds musical, and is the least common.

Elodie or Xara. Like Iris too. DD might well have been Daisy had DH liked it. I think it's more timeless than Elsie or Ivy.

I really like Zara, DH's main complaint about that is the shop? Funnily enough I don't really make the link even tho I have loads of clothes from there and grew up in Spain. I was sort of expecting bad reactions to the name either because of this or the royal connection (even though she seems like a relatively down to earth sort).
India is DH's left field choice - I don't dislike although think a bit odd as neither of us have particular connections with the country. Plus he vetoed Maya as 'too middle class and try hard' which I think applies more to India but am not too fussed about myself!
I v much like Elodie and was worried it would get the 'top common' reaction with so many E-names at the moment, good to see people still seem to view it as a bit different.
Daisy is my perfume and has been one that has stuck with both of us for a long time, however doesn't HUGELY excite me. It is a bit 'cute' but we are a very sporty family with a very boyish boy so can't see her being the most princess-like but you never know!
To add to the mix we are likely to use an -ie ending middle name, a special person in my family who has a full name but disliked it and is always know by the shortened version. I initially thought this meant we couldn't use an -ie or -y ending first name (unless we went with full name for 2nd name) but have pretty much changed my view on this as 2nd names so rarely said aloud anyway.
Any thoughts on that? Ok at risk of outing myself the second name is my dear elderly grandmother's; Mattie. Full name Martha but she is 91 and has never really used it.

Now, I rather like Martha. I don't think you can mix two old lady names or two ie's. Alice Martha. I really don't like Mattie but if you do use it I think you need a more classic first name. Helena, Annabel, Imogen, Clara (short for Clarabel on the Thomas theme of female engines).

Id never not use a preferred first name because of how it might sound with a middle name. Middle names are only important to the parents/child- no-one else gives a hoot or even remembers them!

My definite favourites from you list are Daisy and Elsie.

Zara is lovely. I like the others too, apart from Elsie- which I hate. I know loads atm, but it's still an ugly, frumpy name to my ears.

My favourite is Elodie, however I also like India.

Zara I also don't mind.

I'm not keen on Ivy (I prefer Iris) but thats probably because I am old enough to remember quite clearly Ivy Tilsley from Coronation Street which immediately puts me off.
