Thank you very much.

I have a Cody but I probably shouldn't admit that as the name will probably get a battering soon Grin

Brodie

I have a Brodie and love the name, it's not always loved on here though!

RortyCrankle · 12/12/2016 18:21

Neither

NameChanger22 · 12/12/2016 18:22

RortyCrankle - don't be goady.

ChristmasFlowers · 12/12/2016 18:23

Rorty, how is that helpful?

For a girl or boy? I prefer Cody for a boy but Brodie for a girl

ChristmasFlowers · 12/12/2016 18:25

Brodie for a girl? Not being mean, but it's a boys name?

For a boy Grin

And Brodie is definitely a boy's name traditionally.

Sadik · 12/12/2016 18:48

Cody. Mostly because I know two (well one is Codie and female), both are lovely - so I have good associations with the name :)

While Brodie is traditionally a boys name, I think these days both could be used for either girl or boy - so that would be my only caveat, that you have to be happy with a unisex name. (I like unisex names myself, but I know some don't.)

I really wouldn't call Brodie a unisex name...

Brodie is a lovely name but I would agree that it's unisex. In fact the first person that comes to mind when I hear it is Brody Dalle, a female musician.

catsarenice · 12/12/2016 19:19

Sorry op BlushIt's just that I know of both boys and girls with both names so wasn't sure

Pluto30 · 12/12/2016 19:32

Cody.

I like Cody. I don't like Brodie at all.

ChewedUpRope · 12/12/2016 19:42

Brodie just because it sounds more British to me while Cody sounds more American.
