Thank you Smile

Matilda

jobrum · 08/12/2016 17:31

Annabelle. Lovely name.

Helenluvsrob · 08/12/2016 17:33

What are the other called ?

My 2p worth not Isabella Annabelle or Gabriella as they will all shorten to the ubiquitous Bella / Ella /Elle /Ellie which are very much the small girls names of the last 4yrs or so.

Katherine is utterly timeless and beautiful. It's many nicknames suit different personalities / ages - from sweet little kitty to feisty teen caz . Of course I also know Katherine's that have kept their full names too.

Charlotte is similar. Lovely classic name. Like Penelope too.

Matilda. Ok but a but cutsey and of the moment.

DillDongMerrilyOnHigh · 08/12/2016 17:33

Gabriella. Gorgeous and can be shortened in a number of different ways.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/12/2016 17:35

Isabella

Artandco · 08/12/2016 17:35

Penelope - can be Nell, Nellie as nickname and not as popular as the belle names

mumgointhroughtorture · 08/12/2016 17:37

Matilda :)

midsomermurderess · 08/12/2016 17:39

My favourite is Penelope.

dontpokethebear · 08/12/2016 17:44

6 dds! How fantastic (not sarcasticGrin!.) we struggled to name our only dd (Annabelle, that Is sometimes shortened to Annie), I dread to think how we would have coped with 6, we found boys were much easier to name Grin

dontpokethebear · 08/12/2016 17:44

Ps. Congratulations!

Flying2016 · 08/12/2016 17:44

This is really identifying, but DDs are:
Emmeline
Francesca

What beautiful names. My vote is for Annabelle.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/12/2016 18:50

Katherine. There's not many baby Katherine's about now.

septembersunshine · 08/12/2016 18:55

Annabel (nick name Annie). Just love It! We had a boy (out 4th dc and he was going to be called this!)...it was Annabel Elizabeth...(heart!!!) X

LocalEditorMerton · 08/12/2016 19:01

I would say Katherine (and what lovely names your other DDs have!).

Loyly · 08/12/2016 19:02

Gabriella

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/12/2016 19:04

Is this your 7th baby. Wow. Youve been a busy Lady. Xmas Grin

Allalonenow · 08/12/2016 19:06

Gabriella, lovely name and fits well with the other names.

Annabelle and Isobelle are just too popular ATM.
Matilda, quite like it, but has had a sudden spike in popularity, she could be Matilda3 in her class.
Katherine Penelope and Charlotte, just a bit ordinary compared to the other family names.

Watto1 · 08/12/2016 19:07

Katherine is lovely but there are a million different spellings. I like Penelope and Gabriella best on your list. Do you like all the possible shortenings of the names? Her name is bound to be shortened whether you like it or not. DSis is called Deborah. She can't bear being called Debbie but it happens all the time.

Ijustworkhere · 08/12/2016 19:15

I would say Charlotte goes best with your other children's names. You already have two that end in an 'a' sound so more would be quite matchy. Katherine is a beautiful name but may feel a little plain in the context of the other names. Your daughters have lovely names!

Jooni · 08/12/2016 19:57

Matilda. Congratulations, wow!

youarenotkiddingme · 08/12/2016 20:04

Lovely names your girls have and a great choice for the next one!

Personally I love Charlotte and Matilda.

Annabelle and Matilda and Penelope are doing a come back ATM where I love. Katherine is beautiful. I have a cousin in her 20's with this name. (And she's a lovely girl!)

The only thing I think is that Emmeline and Annabelle/Katherine all sound fairly familiar whereas so far you have an amazing set of names, all classic and beautiful but all sounding different iyswim?

And as an anecdote I know a a family that has a Katherine/Annabelle and one who has aHarriet/Peneolpe!

youarenotkiddingme · 08/12/2016 20:07

Actually Charlotte fits best imo!

Jasmine/Emmeline
Francesca/Olivia
Harriet/Charlotte

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 08/12/2016 20:08

Katherine with Kate / Katie for short.

My dd's name

Charlotte, Gabriella and Isabella are all lovely too.

Sophronia · 08/12/2016 20:12

Katherine is lovely
