Which one? Smile it's definitely going to be one of them...

Isaac (Zac)
Zachary (Zach)
Zack

He'll be known as Zac/Zach/Zack.

Isaac (Zac) for me.

Growingbeanno2 · 02/12/2016 15:57

I have a Zachary who is known as Zac...... Of the three, I'd vote for Issac so he has a choice when older.

HandbagCrab · 02/12/2016 15:57

We have the first combo here :)

cheweduprope · 02/12/2016 15:57

Isaac. Great name.

ManonLescaut · 02/12/2016 15:58

Zachary for sure.

Isaac will just be called Isaac at school etc.

AnnieWhite12 · 02/12/2016 15:58

He wouldn't, if I put his name down as Zac... There is a separate bit Smile

I'd say Zachary, it's lovely, not too common but not too out there, nice to have a full name too as it gives him options when he's older. But all three are lovely Grin

Growingbeanno2 · 02/12/2016 16:00

Oh my g. Just realised my pg brain has taken over. Ignore my initial. Choice, I support Zachary. God I'm so pg!!

ChocoChou · 02/12/2016 16:01

Zachariah? (Just to throw a spanner in the works)

AnnieWhite12 · 02/12/2016 16:03

Zachariah sounds very religious (to my ears) which isn't a bad thing, but just something I'm not keen on!

Isaac for my pick. It's a lovely name.

Hullabaloo31 · 02/12/2016 16:06

I have an Isaac, and he was going to be known as Zac, but he's now almost 5 and has very much chosen to be Isaac at nursery and school. He's sometimes Zaccy at home and to his cousins, or Isey (to me!).
He gets so many compliments on his name, I adore it and wish I loved his sister's name that much

Sophronia · 02/12/2016 16:31

I really like Zachary

GinasGirl · 02/12/2016 16:43

We have a teen Isaac, only ever been known as Isaac, if shortened at home it's usually Ike. The Zac/h's at school are from Zachariah or Zachary.

GinasGirl · 02/12/2016 16:45

Oh and one of my closest friends has a boy called just Zac, it really suits him, a lovely stand alone name, if that suits?

Jojo13 · 02/12/2016 18:33

Although I see where you're coming from, to me, if you want your kid to be called Zach, then Zachary or just Zach/k is the way to go.
Isaac to me, is a totally different name and if I chose it, it would be because I liked the name Isaac and would therefore call him Isaac. If that makes any sense!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 02/12/2016 18:34

Zachary-Zac

PinkCrystal · 02/12/2016 18:36

I would go for just Zac. I like Zachary too but don't see the point in long names that aren't used. I have one myself and it can be annoying!

All the Isaacs are know are just Isaac or Ike or I think it is a stretch to get Zac from that. Also you get the whole which initial is it. Is it an I or a Z. Eg is Catherine Smith, known as Katy, C Smith or K Smith.

KlingybunFistelvase · 02/12/2016 18:50

Isaac

AmberEars · 02/12/2016 18:51

Just Zack

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/12/2016 13:15

My DD would've been a Zac if she'd been a boy but we couldn't decide on Zach/Zak or Zac.
Not keen on Zack, looks like a twist on Jack.
Wouldn't have gone for the Zachary/Zachariah option though unless I was yelling across a field

Didn't have to make the choice though, she's a girl.

TinaBacon · 03/12/2016 13:27

Zachary, definitely.

DramaAlpaca · 03/12/2016 18:28

Zachary

SausageSoda · 04/12/2016 23:09

Issac for me. Though if you want your child to be called Zac/Zach on a day to day basis why don't got just give him that as a name?

JessieDoops · 04/12/2016 23:18

Which ever name you choose he's going to be knows as "zack" (whichever spelling you choose) so why not just cut out the middle man and go with zack
