Which one? Smile it's definitely going to be one of them...

He'll be known as Zac/Zach/Zack.

I have a Zach.

Zachariah sounds very religious (to my ears) which isn't a bad thing, but just something I'm not keen on!

Have you looked up the meaning of Zachary? It means "remembered by God".

I know because it's my son's name. I'm not religious, but my mum is so I made a point of telling her what it meant.

I really don't like the sound of Zak/Zac, it sounds a little comical and like the sound in a comic/cartoon to me.

I do like Isaac and wouldn't shorten it. It's only 2 syllables and easy enough to say imo.

I do like Isaac and wouldn't shorten it.

And that's the point. People won't shorten it to Zach other than friends and family, so he will primarily known as Isaac (which I have to say I hate).

Zach/Zachary is great though.

Gruffalosfriend · 06/12/2016 14:00

Also, the emphasis is on the I in Isaac.

AnnieWhite12 · 06/12/2016 14:07

Nope, like I say. He'll be introduced as Zac. We have gone with Isaac, with the NN Zac, which is how we introduce him. I'm happy with it Smile
