And also are there any possible nn's?

Love it Smile . Possible nicknames are Imo and Immy. Also know a Midge!

Sophronia · 11/11/2016 23:42

I know one who goes by Immy, and I've heard of Gen/Jen/Jenny as a nn too.

JessieDoops · 11/11/2016 23:47

I really love Immy as nn, but wasn't sure if I was just making it up and it sounded silly.

I like it, mainly because I like Immy as a nickname.

However, the Imogen I know goes by Gen (prn. Jen).

Raines100 · 12/11/2016 07:25

I met a little Imogen nn Immy on holiday over the summer.

DragonHorse · 12/11/2016 07:29

Oh I love love love Imogen! If I had another DD she'd be Imogen. I probably wouldn't shorten it.

Celticlassie · 12/11/2016 07:33

I love it. DH does not.

harderandharder2breathe · 12/11/2016 11:51

Love it! I know an Immy and Imo

GerundTheBehemoth · 12/11/2016 11:52

My best pal's name. She is known to all as Imi.

Eehbaguhm · 12/11/2016 11:56

I love it but then I have one! She's mainly Immy but seems to be having a preference for being called her full name now that she is 'a big school girl' Smile

MermaidCafe · 12/11/2016 12:00

Love it. I know a little Imogen who goes by Impy as her pet name. Very sweet.

ClaudiaApfelstrudel · 12/11/2016 12:01

not very keen on it to be brutally honest

ImSoUnoriginal · 12/11/2016 12:18

It's a lovely name but incredibly popular. Nn is usually Immy but I'm liking some of the other variations (not Imo though, that spoils a very pretty name).

SausageSoda · 12/11/2016 12:26

I love the name Imogen - Immy as nn - and have a bit of name regret that we didn't call my 4 month old DD this. Can't remember why we crossed it off the list at the time.

KlingybunFistelvase · 12/11/2016 16:53

I like it!

SidneyPiecrust · 12/11/2016 16:54

Know loads of Imogene, hate immy, love midge

AliceInHinterland · 12/11/2016 16:56

Mog

kmini · 12/11/2016 21:35

Could you have mimi as nn/shortening for images?

kmini · 12/11/2016 21:35

Images = imogen

EweAreHere · 12/11/2016 21:41

I know several, all lovely girls and a friend's lovely baby.

It's a very pretty name.

QueenLizIII · 12/11/2016 21:42

I love it. Would use it myself.

Gruffalosfriend · 12/11/2016 21:43

I'm afraid I don't like Imogen at all, it is so unfeminine sounding to my ears, sorry.

Floralnomad · 12/11/2016 21:49

Dislike it intensely , not aided by the fact that my DD was bullied by a really nasty Imogen ( nn immy) in yr4 .

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 12/11/2016 23:06

I think it's lovely. Suggested it for dd's no 2, since they were struggling for names, but her dh wasn't keen and she had a little boy anyway.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 13/11/2016 00:42

Imogen is lovely. Immy as a nickname is horrendous though.
