Hello!

Baby boy is all new, squishy, beautiful and perfect Wink

Our 3 final names:

  1. Elliot
  2. Noah
  3. Billy (William)

Which one? We thought we would just know, but we don't! :(

Thanks!

Billy. It's a gorgeous name!

pensivepolly · 28/10/2016 18:52

I love William but not Billy so much (sorry). Elliot is a bit wet. Noah is a strong name; for what it's worth, all the Noahs we know are Jewish.
Congratulations on your gorgeous new baby boy!!!

GRSJ0511 · 28/10/2016 18:55

Thanks, both. What does a wet name mean?

Elliot! There are so many William's (admittedly none of the 5 I know go by Billy) and Noah also very popular.

AnnetteKertan · 28/10/2016 18:56

Elliot

JustSpeakSense · 28/10/2016 18:57

Elliot

ClaudiaApfelstrudel · 28/10/2016 18:58

Elliot and Noah are awful names

so William

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/10/2016 18:58

Hate Billy.

Elliott.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/10/2016 19:00

Congratulations Flowers. Enjoy those newborn squishy cuddles.

ample · 28/10/2016 19:00

Elliot or William (not Billy)
Silly question but have you called each name out...one at a time, over and over? I've heard it helps

pensivepolly · 28/10/2016 19:00

"wet" = connotation of being a bit weak, a bit of a drip - just my opinion obviously

Chinlo · 28/10/2016 19:00

Noah by a long way.

Then Elliot.

Then Billy way down here in "don't do it!" territory.

NameChange30 · 28/10/2016 19:01

Noah or Elliot
Don't like William/Billy, I think it's quite boring and there are lots in my generation (born mid-80s)

FWIW I only know of two boys called Noah and neither is Jewish. It's v popular now, in case that's a factor for you.

I like Elliot and don't think it's "wet" at all (hate it when people use that word to describe boy's names, as if boy's names have to be "manly" Hmm)

ample · 28/10/2016 19:01

Lots of newborn news today.
Congratulations Flowers

tiredviolet · 28/10/2016 19:01

Elliot! Enjoy loads of cuddles!!!

GRSJ0511 · 28/10/2016 19:01

The name would be Billy, until he decided otherwise :) so it wouldn't be William.

ample - yes :( I hoped that was going to decide for me! It hasn't, so here I am Wink

Elliott isn't a wet name.

GRSJ0511 · 28/10/2016 19:02

Thanks all for the congrats!

Let us know what you decide

GRSJ0511 · 28/10/2016 19:03

ThroughThickAndThin01 - will do :)

William and Billy are a no from me.

I like Elliott.

FuckThatToOneSide · 28/10/2016 19:04

William by miles and miles. Noah is also nice; it's just the popularity that puts me off, so if that doesn't bother you then I like Noah nearly as much as William.

Elliot I really don't like. It's just one of those names which makes my teeth itch for no good reason!

PiSeas · 28/10/2016 19:04

Elliot is a lovely name

nannyplumislostinspace · 28/10/2016 19:04

How about Ellis?

NameChange30 · 28/10/2016 19:06

I like Elijah... but it sounds as if the OP is having enough trouble deciding between the 3 on her list, so we'd better not add any more!
