Edmund?

Opinions? It reminds me of magic, etc. (Narnia) which I love!

The only other 'Ed' name, that I like, is Edward. Is that better? :)

Other 'magic' names, to me, are names like Phoenix, Griffin, Robin, etc.

Any other suggestions?

Love it. It's unusual without being too 'out there'. If I had another DS it would be on my list Smile

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 26/10/2016 04:07

Blackadder.

HappyCamel · 26/10/2016 04:17

Love the name and the Narnia reference

scrivette · 26/10/2016 04:26

I thought of Narnia too.

How about Eddison?

loveyogalovelife · 26/10/2016 05:18

Blackadder. It's awful (sorry)

midsomermurderess · 26/10/2016 05:29

Was my top boys name. After Edmund in Mansfield park.Smile ignore the Blackwater comments. Most will not make the connection.

liquidrevolution · 26/10/2016 06:04

*blackadder stupid autocorrect...

gettingtherequickly · 26/10/2016 06:34

I thought blackadder as well, but I am of a certain age.

Footle · 26/10/2016 06:41

Edmund in King Lear is the baddie , as is the one in Narnia, but it's a great name.

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan · 26/10/2016 06:56

I thought Narnia as well. Edmund is a weak character in Narnia which puts me off the name. But if you like it, go for it.

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/10/2016 06:58

Nn Ned?

DamnCommandments · 26/10/2016 06:59

Blackadder

17caterpillars1mouse · 26/10/2016 09:03

I think Edmund is really nice. I also really like Edgar and Edison but not so keen on Edward

MotherDuckSaid · 27/10/2016 06:59

💙 Edmund

Bagina · 27/10/2016 07:04

King Lear for me too; it's a no.

HapShawl · 27/10/2016 07:07

You're wrong about Narnia - Edmund has the best character development through the whole series.

None of the Edmunds I know is bothered by the Blackadder thing

But I like Anglo-Saxon names anyway

Footle · 27/10/2016 08:01

HapShawl, I totally agree about Edmund's development , far more interesting and thought-provoking than any other in the books, but children do see him as the baddie.

ErrolTheDragon · 27/10/2016 08:05

Its a lovely name. I doubt that many playground taunts will arise from fellow pupils knowledge of King Lear, or Blackadder tbh. The Edmund in Narnia came good.

Edward is ok too.

PotatoBread · 27/10/2016 16:23

I like it but I prefer Edwin or Edison.

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 27/10/2016 20:30

I love it, really love it.

ShesGotAMapOfTheWorld · 27/10/2016 20:33

I think it's lovely.

stonygreysoil · 28/10/2016 08:26

love it.

RiverTam · 28/10/2016 08:32

You only know that about Edmund if you read the whole series, which most people won't.

It's a bit try-hard for me.
