Freddie or Oscar?

For a friend. Beautiful baby boy born yesterday, and stuck between these two names. I personally prefer Freddiewhat do you think? I think (should of checked) they are also considering Alfie.

Oscar. Freddie would suit a baby but it's a bit silly on an adult.

My ds ds is called Freddie.
His dog is called Oscar

I like Frederick lots of possibilities for NN not just Freddie and he's an Austen Hero so must be a proper professional grown up

Freddie is an awful name, even with the Freddie Mercury (whose name was Farrokh) association. Frederick nn Fred is nice, however.
