So I was pretty set on the name Alice Eleanor, but with 3 weeks to go I've started to like the name Felicity.

DH isn't so keen.

What's everyones thoughts on this name? It's not in this years top 100 (that I can see) and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

I think it's really pretty and just that little bit more unusual.

Caldini22 · 13/09/2016 09:13

I love it. DH vetoed it when we were discussing names but I still think it's so pretty and lovely.

FrillyKnickerbockers · 13/09/2016 09:41

It's lovely. I have known litte kids, bright young women, middle aged mothers and grandmothers with this name and it has suited them all.

Several of them have used Fliss as a nickname at some opint too which is also super cute

SausageDogGeorge · 13/09/2016 09:43

I really like it....never really thought about it until I saw yesterday that Paddy McGuiness and his wife have just had a baby girl and called her Felicity.

Don't like it when people shorten/nickname to 'Flick' though......Hmm

FairyAccess · 13/09/2016 09:45

It's lovely and not as popular as Alice etc

I love, love love it!

DubiousCredentials · 13/09/2016 09:45

I love it but the possibility of "Flick" would put me off using it.

Beetlejuice1 · 13/09/2016 09:45

Yep, love it Smile
Alice is nice too though.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/09/2016 09:51

I prefer Alice Eleanor, Felicity is not as well used though.

cheapandcheerful · 13/09/2016 10:00

I love Felicity! It was on our list.

Ladybird333 · 13/09/2016 10:01

ptsleslie · 13/09/2016 10:02

I think it's a lovely name!

SpecialStains · 13/09/2016 10:03

Lovely name, and I love the nickname Flick.

PotatoBread · 13/09/2016 11:01

I quite like it though not keen on Flick as a nn

PotatoBread · 13/09/2016 11:01

I prefer Alice though!

MitzyLeFrouf · 13/09/2016 11:53

It's pretty and it reminds me of the TV show of the same name which I used to be obsessed with.

Felicity?
Branleuse · 13/09/2016 11:55

i love it, and the nickname flick

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 13/09/2016 13:00

Very pretty. I like Fliss/y or Lissy as a nn, rather than Flick.
Alice is getting worn out, now

Bananacabana · 13/09/2016 13:06

Both Alice and Felicity are lovely names Smile

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 13/09/2016 13:09

I really like Felicity but I prefer Alice slightly.

MrsJoeyMaynard · 13/09/2016 13:11

I like it.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 13/09/2016 13:12

Beautiful! Felicity Alice is a fab name.

HairsprayBabe · 13/09/2016 13:18

Beaut of a name, it's top of my list Grin

TheFace · 13/09/2016 14:06

wow. what a great response, unfortunately DH is a firm 100% no. He has no reason why he doesn't like it, he 'just doesn't'. Grrr, very annoying.

I love Felicity! Agree that Felicity Alice would be a great combination.

honeysucklejasmine · 13/09/2016 14:09

I love it. I would spend the rest of the pregnancy trying to win him over, unless he can suggest an alternative
