Alternative to Annabel?

DH and I both love the name but BIL and SIL already have a niece called Annabel. If we can't find anything we like as much we'll still use it as it's not a close relative to us, but if there's an alternative that'd be better! Any suggestions of names with a similar feel?

Arabella is a bit too posh for us Can't begin with an E because DD1's name does and it would be confusing! Isobel or Isabella are out because that's my best friend's daughter. Sorry...!

We have a particularly English-sounding surname so anything vaguely exotic sounds daft with it!

I would just use it if I'm correct in thinking she's not your niece, but theirs? My sister has a niece with the same name as me and I've never thought it was odd.

But, although that wouldn't be ''too close'' for the OP it would mean that their BIL & SIL had two nieces called Annabel
I could do without two nieces with the same name, if you're given a choice! which I understand you're not!
