Alexander, lots of nice nn to choose from which is why it's my DS middle name because me and DH couldn't agree on our preferred nn.

Your list is suspiciously similar to ours!
Pick Daniel, DH vetoed it, though we ended up with Daniel Alexander as middle names.

Re Benjamin, a good name and most are Ben but I know one who is most definitely Benjamin but people keep calling him Ben which drives his mother up the wall.
