Is tord a good name for my baby?

I wanted to name my newborn after My grandad and his name was tord but im not sure if thats a good name for a baby

Sorry OP the first thing I thought of was turd. Kids are cruel so maybe not a good idea.

Personally I love it and did not even think of 'turd'. My immediate association was the designer Tord Boontje, whose work I love, but I am clearly part of a small subset of the English-speaking population.

I know a Torben, and a Tor ....both gorgeous little fellas
