We were set on Connie, but came across a name I love earlier and I've been thinking about it all day, Romy...
Connie would be full name (not a nn for constance)
And Romy would be a full name (not a nn for romilly)
And spelling Romy/Romey/Romi. Which name do you prefer?

Romy sounds like a boy's name to me.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/07/2016 18:43

Connie.

Romy is nice as a nn for Romilly but I think it's too nicknamey as a full name.

Agadooo · 06/07/2016 18:45

If Romi, then would def spell it Romi-are u definite between only these 2 names?

Connie is lovely. Really not keen on Romy, but I think it's because I'm struggling to pronounce it.

Stick with connie

SnoopDoggyDogg · 06/07/2016 19:30

I love Romilly. I know a Roma, full name is Romance.

Quercus3 · 06/07/2016 19:32

Connie is lovely :)

BertrandRussell · 06/07/2016 19:33

Connie.

But Constance on the birth certificate.

HereIAm20 · 06/07/2016 19:34

I thought Romy was an abbreviation or nn for Rosemary. I quite like Romy but not Rosemary. I know a couple of little Connies though so it may not be unusual if that's what you're after.

Mummamayhem · 06/07/2016 19:35

Both pretty! Romy is the right spelling imo

NotYoda · 06/07/2016 20:33

Really like both of them, but I'd choose Connie

Sophronia · 06/07/2016 20:54

Connie. I like Romy but only short for Rosemary.

TwllBach · 06/07/2016 20:56

I know a little Connie and she's lovely, choose Connie Grin

Chottie · 06/07/2016 20:56

Connie as a nn for Constance

peachypips · 06/07/2016 20:57

I love Romy! Go for it!

DramaAlpaca · 06/07/2016 21:01

I like both, I'd find it hard to choose between them.

The spelling Romy is the usual one, I believe.

ILoveMyMonkey · 06/07/2016 21:13

Love Connie. Romy is cute, it made me think Ramona (but only because RHNY is one of my favourite guilty pleasure shows).

OliveV · 08/07/2016 18:09

Connie

Mclaren37 · 12/07/2016 01:03

Romy is the correct spelling and I prefer it to Connie. Romy is vey cool/chic imo. Sofia Coppola and Julia Roitfeld both have baby girls called Romy.

NapQueen · 12/07/2016 01:17

Connie.

Romy reminds me of Romy and Michelle's high school reunion movie.

blinkowl · 12/07/2016 01:24

I love Romy, it was on my list but DP didn't like it.

Cathaka15 · 12/07/2016 01:27

Connie.
