We were set on Connie, but came across a name I love earlier and I've been thinking about it all day, Romy...
Connie would be full name (not a nn for constance)
And Romy would be a full name (not a nn for romilly)
And spelling Romy/Romey/Romi. Which name do you prefer?

Romy sounds like a boy's name to me.

Romy is nice as a nn for Romilly but I think it's too nicknamey as a full name.

Yes. Definitely Romy/romey/Romi & Connie

Connie is lovely. Really not keen on Romy, but I think it's because I'm struggling to pronounce it.

I thought Romy was an abbreviation or nn for Rosemary. I quite like Romy but not Rosemary. I know a couple of little Connies though so it may not be unusual if that's what you're after.

Romy is the correct spelling and I prefer it to Connie. Romy is vey cool/chic imo. Sofia Coppola and Julia Roitfeld both have baby girls called Romy.
