Rufus ?

Really struggling for a boys name for DC1, please share your thoughts on Rufus? I like it but worried may could go off it in time...I am very indecisive!

I knew a guy in university called Rufus and the dog thing never actually came to mind!

Before I even opened this thread I knew everyone would be crying out that "it's a dog name!"

I like it. I know tonnes of babies called Oscar and Max, which are dog names to me. Go for it!

In the end I decided not to go with Rufus, because I had a DD! If she had been a boy I would have gone with it, it's different and slightly quirky which I like. I wouldn't say it was a dogs name anymore than Oscar, Max etc etc
