Osian, Theo or Noah? (New thread as we're down to 3 names finally!)

Just that really! Surname is Mann.

If Theo or Noah then Osian would be a middle name.

If Osian then middle name will be tbc.

Noah is cute for a baby and boy but does it work for a man?

Should we worry about pronouciation issues re: Osian?
Osian is one of my fav Welsh boy names but not sure if it's a fav overall. I tend towards biblical names more.

Theo seems to work as a baby, child and man. But is it more 'vanilla' than Noah.

Where we live, Noah is statistically the most popular (top 10) where we live, though I've not met many. Theo is also top 10 but lower than Noah. I know one. Osian is mid-ranking in the top 100. I know three.

Really need to choose! Thoughts? Help, please?

You can't have Noah. He would be No Mann.

I would have Theo with Osian as a middle name. His initials would be TOM! Noah is way too popular.

Surprised Osian is so popular, being Welsh. Nice though. But I bet there's people who pronounce it Oss-ay-an.

I feel uneasy with Noah Mann for that reason Not but plenty of people we've asked don't see a problem and DH doesn't either. And I do love Noah so wonder if I should really let the surname thing put me off. But your reaction makes me think...

absolutely we're in Wales. I know what you mean about the 'N' 'N' sound. Not sure it's ideal but it's not awful either?

I love osian. Lots here in Scotland but always spelt Ossian. I would go wit that.

Noah doesn't work with Mann and Theo is so so overused and dull imo.

OP if you're in Wales, go for it. I didn't know Osian was a popular name outside Wales. I only know of a couple, and that includes Osian Ellis, the harpist.

Noah Mann sounds like an anagram to me.

Theo Mann just seems better to me! Noah is bland and Osian sounds weird with your surname. Oscar?

Noah is the nicest, but I'd tread carefully about putting it with Mann. No Mann, or it sounds like someone asking someone if they Know a man.
I'm not a fan The other 2 but Theo is the nicer of the 2

I love Osian (my DS), it's very very popular in Wales at the moment (I know at least 8) which annoys me as I lived in England when I had DS and had no idea how popular it was, I thought it was so original! I think it sounds a bit rhyme-y with your surname sadly. Theo Osian sounds better .

That's my fear Art even in our Anglicised part of Wales. Though I guess you just correct people and hopefully they remember it? It's Osh-ann btw, often shortened to Osh.

I just thought our little dudes nickname is the Osh Man so maybe your surname works just fine!
