We go for OT names to please both camps (DH is Jewish; I'm Christian) but I struggled to find one I liked for DD1 and now DD2 is on the way I need help! Any suggestions? Unusualish is good.

Love Vashti. I used to work with one in real life and hadn't heard it before, then came across it in Thomas Hardy - from memory she's a bridesmaid in Under the Greenwood Tree.

Can you say DD1's name, or is it too identifying?

I like Aphra

A favourite name of mine is Leah

Cordelia - those suggestions are beautiful, particularly Amaris

Ones I haven't spotted...
Bithiah, meaning daughter of God, traditional Jewish name of the adopted mother of Moses. It's another -ah name.
Salome/Shalome, meaning peace, Alexandra Salome was the last Jewish queen of Israel, many miracles are attributed to her.
Davidyah/Davida, feminine of David meaning beloved.
Sera[h] meaning abundance, daughter of Asher, another with lots of legends and miracles attributed to her...

Ooohhh LOVE Orli (presuming it's pronounced Or Lee?)

Adding that to my list for next dc it would go well with my dd Aphra!

I have never heard of it before and I'm a real name nerd Blush
