Thoughts? Worried it could be too plain or that there may be loads of them?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think rather than being plain it's classic & pretty. Suits every age, nice solid name I think. I have a friend called Holly who absolutely suits her name & is lovely.

PalePolkaDot · 04/03/2016 11:21

I love it - have a very good friend who really suits it. There are at least 2 in both my dc school years though if that bothers you

AntiquityReRises · 04/03/2016 11:23

There seemed to be a lot a few years ago but not so many now if that's a concern.

Tis a very pretty name.

thebiscuitindustry · 04/03/2016 11:41

I like it.

3luckystars · 04/03/2016 11:49

I had discounted it because I thought it was too Christmassy, but its actually a nice name all the same.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 04/03/2016 14:35

It's a name, but IMO would only be okay for a winter baby.

kaymondo · 04/03/2016 14:46

Classic and works for both little girls and women.

I would assume a winter birthday though!

CreamofTartar · 04/03/2016 14:48

Not keen. I class with the irredeemably naff Noelle. It sounds 'Christmas-themed' to me.

TrueBlu · 04/03/2016 18:47

If she's born around Christmas it's lovely

cally0 · 04/03/2016 18:48

Never thought about the Xmas connection! Baby due early October x

rainbowstardrops · 04/03/2016 18:48

I would associate it with a winter baby but I do like it Smile

Gracey79 · 04/03/2016 18:52

I like it, don't think it matters when she's born.

Quercus3 · 04/03/2016 20:01

It's lovely no matter what the time of year.

Ages well, pretty without being too girly.

Allalonenow · 04/03/2016 20:08

It's quite pretty, but best used for a Christmas baby I think.

Foxsox · 04/03/2016 20:10

Not just for christmas babies at all.

It's a lovely name.

thebiscuitindustry · 04/03/2016 20:13

I don't think the time of year makes a difference.

Rainbowqueeen · 04/03/2016 20:15

Love it

Time of year makes no difference

user7755 · 04/03/2016 20:15

DSD is Holly, born in June. Named after Holly Golightly. Lovely name, have never met another Holly (that I can think of) - she is in her 30s

Katarzyna79 · 04/03/2016 20:20

girlandboy · 04/03/2016 20:24

DD is Holly. Born in September and she's 20. Not just for Christmas.

Beautiful name.

NightCityLights · 04/03/2016 20:35

My name is Holly and I do often get asked if I was born around Christmas. I was born in August.

Aside from that though I like my name and I don't meet many other Hollys at all.

Borntobeamum · 04/03/2016 20:36

I always wanted to call my dd Holly, till I married a Mr Wood.

I went to school with 5 hollys/Hollie it is very common and is also a bit bland

ddeemummy · 06/03/2016 09:58

Hollie/Holly is nice and dont think it matters about time of year she is born. Not too popular either so would be a bonus for me
