My first baby is due next week and I would really value any thoughts or preferences about these names. Thank you. Smile

My preference is Clara. Congratulations, I hope it all goes well.

EachandEveryone · 25/02/2016 17:51

Cora. Clara getting popular does anyone know why?

Sophronia · 25/02/2016 17:53

Cora

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 25/02/2016 17:54

I love them all so unhelpful

Depends on the middle name?

DontKillMyVibe · 25/02/2016 17:55

Cora by miles.

It's on my list too Smile

I love Clara, a beautiful name.

Not so keen on Cora, sounds very harsh to me and reminds me of the French supermarket chain, also US backwoods Cora-Beth.
I like the meaning of Cara, but think of it more as a nn for Caroline.

GoldPlatedBacon · 25/02/2016 18:16

Cora

LotsofDots · 25/02/2016 18:17

Clara, Cara, Cora would be my order, but they are all nice.

crapfatbanana · 25/02/2016 18:30

I love the meaning of Cara and it sounds so elegant, plus there is one in my ten year old son's class who is a lovely girl so that would be my preference.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 25/02/2016 18:49

Cara for suuuuure, the others are too fancy for my taste.

NoCapes · 25/02/2016 18:53

Love love love Cora!

(Just posted this exact thing on another thread)

Clara or Cara.

Really, really dislike Cora (sorry)

FunkyPeacock · 25/02/2016 20:22

Cara is my favourite

thebiscuitindustry · 25/02/2016 20:26

Cara

thebiscuitindustry · 25/02/2016 20:27

Second would be Clara. I don't like Cora at all.

ilovespringflowers · 25/02/2016 20:27

I love Cara with Cora a close second.

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 25/02/2016 20:29

I know a toddler Cara - strong enough name for a grown up but cute on a little one.

Ellieboolou27 · 25/02/2016 20:30

My niece is a Cora and she's the only one I've met (she's 15)

Kim82 · 25/02/2016 20:34

My preference is Cara, it's lovely. Cora is nice but getting quite popular.

Thelastusername · 25/02/2016 20:35

Cora is beautiful.

Cora, beautiful name, sounds so pretty

CPtart · 25/02/2016 20:52

Cara.
Cora sounds like a device for cutting fruit!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/02/2016 20:54

Cara.
