Longer name with nickname of beau (for a boy)

Does anyone know of a longer name with a nickname of bo/ beau for a boy?

Further to my last post, we still love Beau but are worried that he might not like it when he's older and would like it to be easier for him to be known by something else.

I've heard of Beauregard and Bodhi. Are there any others?

Xx

Bogart?

Beaumont or Beauregard

Sophronia · 25/02/2016 17:52

Beaumont could also have Monty as a nn if he didn't like Beau

Allalonenow · 25/02/2016 17:54

Beaufort

I've also heard Bo as a nn for Robert (like Bob and Bobby are), and there's the biblical name Boaz which could have Bo for short

Haribo Wink

IdaShaggim · 25/02/2016 18:12

Asbo Wink But my first thought was Beaufort too.

TheWordOfBagheera · 25/02/2016 18:23

I know a little Boaz who goes by Bo.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 25/02/2016 18:24

I know a Beauregard

namechange7711 · 25/02/2016 20:09

The only Bo I know is really called Eleanor!

Seriously though, I think you could have any boys' name beginning with B and use the nickname Beau. Benjamin, Benedict, Bartholomew etc. Perhaps Reuben or Robin at a push.

namechange7711 · 25/02/2016 20:10

Another suggestion: Brodie

verytiredmummy1 · 25/02/2016 20:46

Is bodie a name? X

I looked up Bodie and apparently it's a variant of Boden, so yes it's a name.

Bodhi is another boy's name, with Sanskrit origins, meaning "enlightenment" or "awakened".

InkleWinkle · 25/02/2016 21:28

Brodie is a popular Scottish name.

andadietcoke · 25/02/2016 21:32

I know a little Bodhi

Sorry again.

I really like Beaufort actually although he would probably have to spell it wherever he goes. Love Brodie too.i agree with the previous poster who said you could actually get away with any B name. Smile

julfin · 26/02/2016 00:16

Beaudelaire

Mclaren37 · 26/02/2016 00:24

You could have any B name and I really like Bo as short for Reuben too. However if you want it to happen 'naturally' and for Bo / Beau to be his main name then I like Bodie, Brodie and Beaumont, Beauford.

Mclaren37 · 26/02/2016 00:25

*sorry meant Beaufort.
