One of my DT's is Anatoly (Tolly for short).

Oh and I forgot about Thaddeus....

My husband still maintains that Seve is the coolest boy's name ever. I vetoed it immediately, but it's certainly unusual!

Seeing as we are in the era of anything goes, I would say a name like Nigel, Roger, Gaylord, Derek or Herman would be unusual.

I was at school with an Athelstan. Stan for short. I thought it was weird at the time, but I like it now.
