Ds3 could have been Riker, because I love him and William (his first name) was too boring for us. Decided against, but that would be my boy choice. Actually a lot of your list is second names. I'd probably go for Deanna, as in Troi.
//end Trekkie post.

McCoy for a boy

Troi for a girl

But I'd prefer Jean-Luc for a boy and anything for a girl

crazygirluk · 04/02/2016 14:53

My daughters middle name is actually Jadzia. Her dad was an avid watcher of Star Trek but I drew the line at having it as a first name.

SquirrelledAway · 04/02/2016 15:00

Does the new law insist on using surnames for first names?

What happened to Checkov? And Scott(y)?

00100001 · 04/02/2016 15:07

I didn't make law, I'm just the messenger! Grin

My son has the same name as a star trek character actually. It's not on your list though. We also toyed with Tiberius as a middle name.

From the list I'd go for Riker and Jadzia.

SquirrelledAway · 04/02/2016 15:12

Isn't it the messenger that usually gets shot?

MephistophelesApprentice · 04/02/2016 15:16

Worf and Jadzia. When they grow up, they can look at the characters I think most impressed me across all the series.

SquirrelledAway · 04/02/2016 15:19

Troi for a boy and Uhuru for a girl then.

thatstoast · 04/02/2016 15:26

Op, are you wearing a red shirt?

deadwitchproject · 04/02/2016 15:31

worf for a boy and sulu for a girl

VulcanWoman · 04/02/2016 15:36

Amanda. Spock's mother.

SquirrelledAway · 04/02/2016 15:49

Op, are you wearing a red shirt?

And quite possibly a tinfoil hat?

CultureSucksDownWords · 04/02/2016 15:53

Another vote for Riker and Jadzia :-)

LaContessaDiPlump · 04/02/2016 15:56

Jean-Luc and Lwaxana here.

3luckystars · 04/02/2016 16:01

Deanna

3luckystars · 04/02/2016 16:02

I don't think you should be able to limit us with your "list" to pick from. Leave it open.

00100001 · 04/02/2016 16:02

uh-oh... it is red

iklboo · 04/02/2016 16:41

From that list? Jadzia for a girl, McCoy for a boy. But there's loads of other names. Like Lwaxana, Quark, Sisko or SevenOfNine Grin

Do you have Klingons on your starboard bow?

00100001 · 04/02/2016 16:44

No adding extra names now - the list was passed in law earlier today... no additions Wink

wickedwaterwitch · 04/02/2016 16:49

I'm going off list with Janeway for a girl and Picard for a boy

wickedwaterwitch · 04/02/2016 16:50

Or Sisco for a boy and sevenofnine for a girl

JenEric · 04/02/2016 16:52

Troi for girl but we should be allowed deanna as troi is her surname...

Riker for a boy but I want William for reasons stated above.

3luckystars · 04/02/2016 17:10

Yeah well laws can be changed, especially by the thread starter. I think its limiting creativity on an otherwise BRILLIANT THREAD.

00100001 · 04/02/2016 17:31

Fiiiiiiine, I'll send word back to the law makers about including any Star Trek name. Grin
