Choosing a name is so difficult!

Currently 33 weeks so conscious of how much time we have left to decide. We are expecting a boy and have made a shortlist of 4. Opinions would really be appreciated!

George Donald
Edwin George
Dexter George
Henri George

As you can see, we would like to have George in there somewhere either as a first name or a middle name.

Surname begins with S and fairly regular. Nothing that could cause conflict in names.

TIA Smile

Henry George x

If your surname is the very (most) common one beginning with S then I would go for Edwin George as Edwin is more unusual than your other options. Lovely name!

nextusername · 15/01/2016 20:45

Edwin George, then George Donald.

Wishful80sMontage · 15/01/2016 20:48

Henry George if spelt with the Y at the end if not then Edwin George

loveinfinate · 15/01/2016 20:49

George

Sophronia · 15/01/2016 20:55

I love Edwin George and George Donald, in that order. Not keen on Henri or Dexter. Would love to hear of a little Edwin!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 15/01/2016 20:56

I like Henry (but not pronounced Onree)

Hassled · 15/01/2016 20:57

Edwin George

Hassled · 15/01/2016 20:57

Only use Henri if you're actually French. Otherwise it looks like you can't spell.

silverdrawers · 15/01/2016 20:59

Edwin George is my favourite, Henri makes me think of Henri Lloyd, the chav designer of choice when I was a teen ;)

BikeRunSki · 15/01/2016 21:00

Edwin George

(I do actually know a little Edwin, he's about 5).

luchadragon · 15/01/2016 21:03

Dexter George Smile

Purplecan4 · 15/01/2016 21:12

Dexter George
Think this is quite cool.

pilates · 15/01/2016 21:13

Edwin George, not keen on your spelling of Henri.

guineapig1 · 15/01/2016 21:14

Edwin George - lovely!

MuttonCadet · 15/01/2016 21:15

Definitely Edwin George.

winstonina · 15/01/2016 21:18

I love Dexter George!

Yika · 15/01/2016 21:20

Edwin George is lovely.

PunkAssMoFo · 15/01/2016 21:22

Edwin.

It's a great name.

CorneliousFudge · 15/01/2016 21:25

I love George Donald! Have a soft spot for Donald, but I've never used it. George is also my DS1's middle name.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 15/01/2016 21:39

Dexter George.

Sofiria · 15/01/2016 21:46

Edwin George - great name!

JamesetjeeBomanjee · 15/01/2016 21:49

If your surname is very common I'd go with Dexter or Edwin.

I love George but there are millions of them. Smile

Tiggeryoubastard · 15/01/2016 21:50

Henry with a y is fine, actually most are, but what's Dexter doing in with those lovely names?

CakeRattleandRoll · 16/01/2016 00:52

George Donald
