I like it Smile

PollyPocket100 · 11/01/2016 17:35

Lovely !

Kingfisherfree · 11/01/2016 17:36

Nice for a cat - sorry, but love Florence.

FunkyPeacock · 11/01/2016 17:38

I don't love it but don't hate it either

For some reason I struggle to imagine a grown woman called Tabitha and feel it is better suited to a child. I have no idea why as I don't know anyone IRL (adult or child) with this name.

Fatfreefaff · 11/01/2016 17:38

Sorry but whenever I hear that name I think of Tabitha Twitchett from Beatrix Potter.

Thanks for your replies!

I have no opinion on it whatsoever. A totally fine name.

AuntieStella · 11/01/2016 18:03

I think it's lovely.

Roomba · 11/01/2016 18:09

I like it a lot. I know two - one is nine and the other late 40s. I would use it for a girl.

Only1scoop · 11/01/2016 18:11

Love it

DizzyDancer · 11/01/2016 18:12

I like it

Used to have a cat called tabitha but she was named after the little girl from bewitched cos my mum was Samantha

Figwin · 11/01/2016 18:15

In my head it's a cat name but obviously it was a human name first, just not around that often but you wouldn't think twice if you met someone with that name

fessmess · 11/01/2016 18:17

Love it. But then I have a teenage one!

nellyflora · 11/01/2016 18:21

Love it know an 8 year old one! You do have to be happy with witchy and cat associations but I personally think that's half the charm.

Vixxfacee · 11/01/2016 18:27

Dislike alot.

DandyDan · 11/01/2016 18:33

Love it, and love Tabby as a nn too.

ditavonteesed · 11/01/2016 19:09

I have a Tabitha, nn Tabi, I love it obviously

Daffydil · 11/01/2016 19:12

I love it, and it would be on my short list, but I already have a Felix, and it might be a bit too catty to have both!

Quietattheback · 11/01/2016 19:13

Love it too but I think it's one of those marmite names.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 11/01/2016 19:26

Cute for a kitten. Daft for a baby. But according to this thread. Im very much in the minority, in my thinking.

Youve given your first dd a gorgeous elegant classic name like Florence. You should keep up the tradition, and follow suit with another classic name.

villainousbroodmare · 11/01/2016 19:33

Pleasant but witchy/ catty imo. I'd agree with Iliveinalighthouse that it's got a different feel to it from Florence (which I love).

FlysInDreams · 11/01/2016 19:42

I like it, but DH didn't - said it was a cat name

Borninthe60s · 11/01/2016 20:20

Great name for a cat.

PrimalLass · 11/01/2016 20:20

Love it. DD's best friend is called Tabitha.

nextusername · 11/01/2016 20:45

Sorry but I don't like it.
