Gosh! The OP likes Louie, I repeat, OP likes L O U I E. Stop suggesting Louis already.

I agree with what TheNewStatesman says about the never ending 'eeee' sound in between Louie Ethan.

Alfie Dylan gets my vote.

But you basically never say the first and middle name together, so I wouldn't worry about that.

The op prefers Louie! I think that spelling makes more sense in a non-French speaking country, unless you want it pronounced Lou-is. Can you imagine how difficult it will be for a 5 year old Louis to learn to spell his name if he has to pronounce it the French way. Go for Louie if that's what you prefer!

Both are unacceptable to me, sorry. But as its not my child, go right ahead. Dylan if you must. Alfie never. Louis if you must. Ethan is actually a good, strong name. But not the combinations you suggest.
