I'm wanting to call DS2 this and just wondered what people thought about the name :)

I love Isaac.

Unusual and short.

Pandora97 · 15/11/2015 23:48

I wouldn't say Isaac's unusual - it's very 2015 to me, in that I know lots of them born recently. I believe it's in the top 30 in the name charts if you care about such things. That said, it's one of my favourite names. Handsome, cute with a great meaning. Just be prepared that he will probably meet lots of others in his peer group.

IHaveBrilloHair · 15/11/2015 23:49

Nice, but very biblical if that's something that bothers you.

Devora · 15/11/2015 23:50

Love it. I don't know any small Isaacs.

Sunshine511 · 16/11/2015 19:05

Lovely name Smile

EsmesBees · 16/11/2015 19:09

Lovely. I know lots of young Isaacs. The only thing I don't like is that there is no obvious nickname.

MummaGiles · 16/11/2015 19:09

Lovely. There was an Isaac born in our NCT group and he's such a lovely boy.

MaliaGrace · 16/11/2015 19:47

Love it.

SophieUnderwood · 16/11/2015 19:58

I will name a second son Isaac :) love it!

Oysterbabe · 16/11/2015 21:16

It's nice but I think it's becoming incredibly popular, much like Noah.

celtictoast · 16/11/2015 21:19

It's a very nice name. Quite popular.

beepbeep · 16/11/2015 21:21

I have an Isaac - he's Issey (pronounced I-zee) as a nickname, though I have also heard Zac as a nickname. I liked the meaning and that it's not too common, only one other in his school & he's 7

SanityClause · 16/11/2015 21:24

Cute.

Possible cool nicknames are Zack and Ike.

AntsMarching · 16/11/2015 21:29

I know an Isaac, he's 6. His mother, a devout Christian, named him Isaac because she'd waited 10 years to have him, just like Sarah had waited a long time to have her Isaac. I like the story behind his name.

And even without the story, I like the name. I think it's a strong name.

DramaAlpaca · 16/11/2015 22:20

I don't like it at all, sorry.

Sophronia · 16/11/2015 23:04

I'm not keen, I just hear 'I suck'

Tirfarthoin · 16/11/2015 23:08

I love it. It's DSs middle name and he also has a biblical first name. I am an athiest who loves biblical namesSmile

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 16/11/2015 23:18

I love Isaac - traditional and yet not too common.

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 16/11/2015 23:19

And by common I mean popular not common!

MyNewBearTotoro · 16/11/2015 23:22

I like it. Was on the shortlist for DS.

namechangedtoday15 · 16/11/2015 23:22

Quite a few at school (Inc my son's yr 6) as the name if my nephew. Think its lovely but v popular.

The conventional nickname is Ike which I'm less keen on.

IoraRua · 16/11/2015 23:23

Love it.

MuttonCadet · 16/11/2015 23:23

Love it, and NN zac.

Littlemissjt · 16/11/2015 23:30

Love it! Only reason it wasn't on my list is because I have a friend with one, he's the only one I know though.

MarieJeanne · 16/11/2015 23:39

I like it, along with Jacob and Noah
