I'm wanting to call DS2 this and just wondered what people thought about the name :)

Fab name

Nice, but very popular. There's 1 or 2 in every group (class, ballet lesson, swimming lesson, beavers, music group) my DC (7 and 4) are in. They must know about 8 under 8 between them.

I have a teen Isaac, no nn, and it really suits him, we love it!
The only thing I don't like is when people pronounce it I - zack instead of I - zuck because it just sounds all wrong to my ears!
And my best friend cracks me up, she always forgets how to spell it, so now just writes Iszaack Grin

Love it

I have a teenage Isaac, was very uncommon when we used it, seems to be much more popular now

We have never shortened it, he is always Isaac (and agreed with pp about people pronouncing it I - zack)

Lovely strong name.

Never heard of I suck only I sac or I zac.

steppemum · 17/11/2015 00:28

well I guess I-suck is a but strong, the point is that I-zack stresses the z and the a, when it should be an s and soft unstressed a.
