Critique my girls names and help me find some boys names

Hi, I'm finding is difficult to find boys names that I like and I have an ever growing list of girls names. Please critique my girls names and help me find some boys names I might like. I'd love to hear your suggestions.

My guidelines - don't like bible names, like nature names and "ryn" or "wyn" endings. My surname is Ww* so its long with multiple w-sounds.

Girls
Zoe - OH's favourite
Annie - always been a fan
Quinn - The letter Q is cool right?
Willow - I love love love this but worry that W-W-W-W would be a bit of a mouthful but there are plenty of WW names e.g. William Wallace, William Wordsworth, they always sound fine to me.
Violet - My gran's middle name. I'm a big fan but not sure it goes with Ws. Could be a middle name candidate. I see its quite popular at the moment though.
Robin - Nice but not sure yet
Merryn - Like Ryn sounds

Boys
Oscar - pretty much the only male name I like so far. Is it super popular at the moment?
Casper - maybe? similar sound
Jasper - maybe? similar sound
Merlin - love this but is it too "cool"?
Benjamin - Ben is quite nice, I suppose.

Girls
Zoe or Anna (nn Annie)

Boys
Benjamin (Ben)

Quinn and Casper

I like Merryn

And although i like Oscar i much prefer Casper

I don't like Willow with your surname, too much W going on there.
Annie - no, don't like, too cutesy. Anne though would be incredibly underused atm and it is lovely.
Zoe - I do like this!
Violet - I like. It will become popular though
Robin - hate this name, sorry
Merryn - yes, it's lovely
Quinn - ugh. A disgraced Irish banker Even without that connection I don't like it, far too surnamey.

Merlin - no. I think it fits an artist or musician well but a nurse/accountant/priest, no. It's a bit try hard imo.
Casper - the friendly ghost! Don't really like but better than Merlin.
Jasper - grand
Oscar - lovely but popular
Benjamin - nice but popular too I would think.

I will have a think about suggestions :)

Annie - like as a nickname for Anne, Annabel, Anneliese etc.
Quinn - don't like
Willow - lovely name but too many w's with your surname
Violet - very pretty and would be fine with your surname.
Robin - not keen
Merryn - quite nice and unusual

Oscar - not keen personally
Casper - like, though prefer Caspar spelling
Jasper - OK but prefer Casper
Merlin - a wizard
Benjamin - OK, a little dull

Annie and Zoe are my favourites from your girls list. I don't think Robin sounds great with the surname. I like Jasper and Benjamin best from your boys.

How about autumn or aurora for a girl? Like Benjamin from your boys list

Zoe or Merryn. Do you like Meredith or Rhiannon?

Boys names: Glenn, Heath, Clay, Basil, Forrest? These were much harder, not sold on any of em personally but you might like.

My ds2 (13) is Oscar, and my dd (4) is Merryn so love those.

I have robyn on my list for dc6 due April.

I like Quinn, I know a baby Quinn. I don't like Annie or zoe much, they are nice enough just not to my taste.

My nephew is a caspar and I love it, love jasper also and merlin. Not keen on Benjamin.

Other names we have on our list are hazel, sorrel, juniper/juno, Astrid, felicity for girls.

Sonny, emmett, cassius, tate for boys.

I like violet but yes it's popular and dh doesn't like it.

Annie - I quite like this as a nn. Especially for Anna. Anna is gorgeous!
Quinn - just no.
Willow - really like Willow but tbh think it would be too much W with your surname
Violet - gorgeous. think it would be OK with your sn?
Robin - meh. Why not Robin for a boy? much nicer IMO.
Merryn - meh but I think most people will like. Erin?

Merlin - definitely not
Benjamin - love it but I like normal names....

Quinn - My rabbit is called Quinn
Willow - This is a lovely underrated name.
Violet - More middle name material
Robin - I see this as more of a boys name, maybe consider spelling it 'Robyn'
Merryn - Can take it or leave it.

Casper - Just think of the playground should they ever bring Casper the friendly ghost back.

Merlin - Again think of the playground.

Katrin, a traditional Irish name and you could always make it Katryn if you wanted to.

There is no k in the Irish alphabet, that's not a traditional Irish name.

@IoraRua - Fair enough must have got some bum information, maybe it was originally spelt with a 'C'. Still like the name.

I was just watching Scandal and said to DP that I like the name Quinn. Willow always sounds a bit hippyish to me, Zoe I'm not keen on.

I've had 2 friends call their boys Oscar in the last 6 months...

Merlin... makes me think of wizards

It is a nice name Andy :) Sounds Scandinavian to my ears though. Was it something like Caitlin possibly that you heard?

Or Caitriona, Caoilainn (key-lann), Caireann (care-in)...none fit exactly but similar!

You see a friend of mine is a friend of mine is a Katrin and it's a family name so she must think that because that side of the family is Irish =] Should probably tell her.

I love Merryn. Reminds me of the Welsh name Celyn which means Holly.

Actually if you like wyn/Ron names maybe look for something Welsh as there are very many wyn names, although perhaps if you are not in Wales they may seem unusual.

Maybe taken from an Irish name and changed a bit...it is a lovely name but not something I've come across (and I've done a lot of poking around Irish baby name sites looking for my own name list!). Nothing too similar sounding either that I can think of, except those ones I mentioned above...maybe Cait and then with an in on the end, Caitin.
A lovely name though!

What about Rowan, for either a girl or a boy?

There are some nice Welsh girls names

Eira (eye-ra) means snow.
Eirianwen (eye-ree-an-wen) means pure or bright.
Enfys (En-viss) means rainbow.
Eirlys (Ire-liss) means snowdrop.

And boys

Aneirin -noble
Derwyn -oak tree
Elwyn - wise friend
Taliesin - shining brow

Zoe and Oscar :) Merlin is cute though x
