How would you pronounce 'Neva'

I wouldn't use 'Niamh'. But wondering if Neva just looks like a 'misunderstanding' of Niamh?? Neva is apparent Spanish, meaning 'white snow', which might be a nice option for my winter baby

I would assume it was from a parent who liked Niamh but decided to mess about and Anglicise it. I wouldn't know whether it was likely to be pronounced as 'Neeva' or 'Nayva'.

Niamh is pronounced 'neev' - I think it's pretty well-known in the UK.

I went to school with a Neva and she also pronounced it Nee-vah
