I really like Jesse and Sonny. I think they go really well with each other. Not keen on your other suggestions though

It's ok, better for a baby/boy than a man. Of your other names Ralph is the best, I don't like the others. Jed sounds like it should be a nn for something and Hudson is awful as a first name.

It reminds me of Jesse James. Bet no one called him a big girl's blouse to his face.

Jesse is a wonderful boy's name.

It's cool. There's a great Carly Simon song called Jesse which is all about some cad that she can't help but get excited about even though she knows he's bad for her. He sounds very sexy.

And I'm not just saying this because of my username . In fact I'd actually discourage you from using the name if you are in Scotland as "Big Jessie" is a much more common insult up there than in England.

I really like Jesse, think it's a great boys name but I actually don't think it sits well with Sonny (which is also great), too much "ee" sound at the end for one mouthful.

I love Jesse. Love Jed too, ever since reading Ursula LeGuin's Earthsea - the hero is Jed. Also there was a really cool boy at my school called Jed.
