Jaden is just too popular and I think of Britney Spear's child. Naff.

I like Tate. Reminds me of the film Little Man Tate, although it was a surname for that. Another suggestion is Nathaniel with nn Nate.

I know a boy and a girl Tate. I really dislike it for either gender. It's just so...bland and short. And reminds me of potato.

Elijah is gorgeous. Jaden is a perfectly nice name that MN has taken against and views as being a bit common. I like it though. Tate I'm not so sure about - I only know one and he's a cat with a brother called Lyle.

No, some people don't like the name Jayden. It gets tedious when people try to blame opinions on some kind of hive mind.
