For baby due in July? I FINALLY have a shortlist of two :)

Her middle name is Anita and she has a brother called Edward and a sister called Flora :) which do you prefer?

Imogen, without a doubt

BunnyLebowski · 15/04/2015 23:00

Mabel. It has bags of character and goes perfectly with your other DCs names.

Imogen is a tad dreary and just not a very nice sound to me.

DramaAlpaca · 15/04/2015 23:00

Imogen

Mabel is beautiful and is a good sibset with Edward and Flora
Imogen is a bit too "now" imo

I do like how quaint it sounds but I like Imogen too. I know what you mean about it being 'now" though!

I love the name Mabel and really really dislike Imogen.
That said i think Imogen works better with Anita than Mabel.
Is 'Anita' set in stone?

Bowlersarm · 15/04/2015 23:46

Imogen

(love,love Flora btw)

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 15/04/2015 23:48

Imogen

Rhubarbgarden · 15/04/2015 23:49

Mabel. It's a nicer name and sounds better with Anita - Imogen Anita is a bit of a tongue twister.

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 15/04/2015 23:50

Mabel Anita runs together to sound like some kind of margarine or low fat yoghurt advertised by Gok Wan: "if you want to lose weight, try eating mabelanita!" Grin

They are both gorgeous and were both on my shortlist for both my girls (exH a tasteless arse!!).
Mog or Mabel? Just lovely and impossible to choose between. Go for both!
Imogen Mabel Anita
Or if you go for Imogen your girls can be Flo and Mo?

Both truly gorgeous, honestly.

I used to like Imogen, but that was before Imodium went on sale.

Imogen is lovely.
Mabel is OK, but my grandma was a Mabel, and it will always be an 'old lady' name to me.

Mabel goes better with siblings names!

CindyEcstacy · 16/04/2015 05:25

Are you planning on giving birth to a baby or a pensioner?

Duckdeamon · 16/04/2015 05:33

Neither names go with Anita.

justnippingin · 16/04/2015 05:45

Mabel, gorgeous.

sweetpeame · 16/04/2015 07:35

Imogen definitely. Mabel is fine but is still very blue rinse sounding IMO.

cosmicglittergirl · 16/04/2015 07:44

Mabel is great, but then I am a big fan of the old lady names having two DDs with such names. Imogen is a lovely name, but Mabel has the edge for me.

BubGal13 · 16/04/2015 08:42

Mabel, Imogen is twee, middle aged, snooty and every Imogen I've met are these and very bitchy.

Mabel is gorgeous, very pretty and individual.

Marmaladedandelions · 16/04/2015 08:51

I like Mabel Imogen Anita actually :) (Anita was my mums name. Flora is Flora Jacqueline after late MIL.)
