For a girl. . .? My favourite girl's name is Sophia but I'm put off by how popular it has become.

Any suggestions on middle names for Vienna?

I'm not in favour of Vienna... but if you insist, maybe Vienna Florence? Keeps the theme going...

minkychickwithpeachyknicks · 04/03/2015 22:24

Only1scoop · 04/03/2015 22:26

Middle name Etta perhaps?

LMGTFY · 04/03/2015 22:27

This means nothing to me....

I can't be the only one surely? Wink

Devora · 04/03/2015 22:28

I know a Vienna! I would pair it with something like Josephine, Sylvie or Lauren (i.e. not a name ending with a).

I think with Vienna you run the risk of the song always being sung at them. I have a friend called Jude and every time someone was drunk or a bit of a dick in general he used to get Hey Jude hollered at him. And to be honest I don't really think I like it - I'd assume that I was hearing Sienna wrongly.

oops lots of x posts

mupperoon · 04/03/2015 22:33

But on the plus side you could use the diminutive Viennetta.

mupperoon · 04/03/2015 22:34

I prefer Vienna to Teddie!

mupperoon · 04/03/2015 22:35

Argh only1scoop didn't see your Etta post!

brightnearly · 04/03/2015 22:45

I can't think of a middle name for Teddie - you'll need one, as it's unisex.

Or were you planning on an actual Theodora?

What about Penny?

SirVixofVixHall · 04/03/2015 22:46

oh and I agree Rigsby's cat. No. Just don't.

emmelinelucas · 04/03/2015 22:54

Teddie Penny ?
Sounds like baby talk to me Hmm

Paintedpinksapphires · 04/03/2015 23:00

I'm not overly keen on Vienna but it I like it much better than Teddie (apologies it just doesn't sound like a name for an adult woman)

SirVixofVixHall · 04/03/2015 23:04

Finding that on youtube threw up all sorts of fab 80s songs I'd forgotten about. Have now spent a happy ten minutes with Yazoo, Tears for fears, Cindy Lauper. Smile

BabyNeedsChocolate · 05/03/2015 08:28

It made me think of Viennetta as well - sorry. What about Venetia? Also a city but more familiar as a name than Vienna.

I think Theodora nn Teddie is pretty too, but I'd go for the full name which would give her more flexibility with nns as she got older.

shakemysilliesout · 05/03/2015 09:20

I want a mint vienetta now

manicinsomniac · 05/03/2015 09:47

I actually rather like Vienna. Much more than Teddie. Though I prefer Sophia to both.

Vienna Marie
Vienna Elise
Vienna Claire
Vienna Faye
Vienna Nicole

TheRealMaryMillington · 05/03/2015 09:49

Its terrible

Teddie (Thea, or Edwina) is much better.

Popsandpip · 05/03/2015 21:37

Venetia?
