Boys names are impossible!

We have aaaaaages to decide, but I wanted some input early as I think DP and I are going to struggle to agree on boys names as we don't seem to like any!

Here are the constraints:

Nothing too....(the word that's banned here), e.g. Jayden/Kayden/Kai
I don't like Callum/Connor names
No surnames - Parker, Fletcher etc
Nothing overly biblical, e.g. Ezekiel
Preferably not top 50, so not Noah, Oliver, Jack
Can't end in a 'ree' sound. I love Henry but baby's surname will be Reed and I think the 'ree-ree' sound in the middle is odd
More than one syllable to work with surname
Nothing too Scottish/Welsh/Irish as we don't have connections there

To give you an idea of what I do like, my absolute favourite is Wilbur. I know it's been slated on here so many times before, but I love it. Have yet to convince DP though... We both like Edwin shortened to Ned, but I'm worried this is becoming too popular.

Are there any names that fit those criteria?

Joining in too. We did namedtogether and couldn't agree on one single boy name out of 500. Have you tried it OP?

Elliott has been my 'boy ' choice since I was younger, that and Matthew but DP doesn't like either :(

Ds1s name has been picked since my husband and I were 18

He arrived when we were 29 Grin

And it's one of the names already mentioned...

RufusTheReindeer · 02/03/2015 15:16

When we looked at names for ds2 we made a list each

My list had about 30 boys names on it

DH's list had 6

There were two names that appeared on both lists and we chose one of them, the one we didn't pick was Seth because at the time ds1 had a little bit of a lisp and because added to our surname it made a name you would imagine as a character on emmerdale Grin

Love Willoughby!

BikeRunSki · 02/03/2015 22:52

But OP doesn't want surnames.

HettyB · 03/03/2015 07:47

Thanks for the suggestions guys! We've found another one (mentioned here) that we both really like, so we have two girls and teo boys names, which is enough to keep us going for now!
