Anyone know lots of them? A friend's partner is named Marit, and I've just realised how much I love it. It seems that the Scandis have lovely names that are feminine, without being soft.

Solveig is pronounced Sol-vie, as in I, I think it's lovely. She had two DDs, Ingrid and Trina. I have a friend who lived in Norway and her DD was Clara, not sure if it is Norwegion though.

How do you pronounce Linnea?

I have heard it pronounced Linn-A-ah ('A' as in ABCDEFG...) and also Linn-EE-ah. I think there are regional variations in Scandinavia.
