Sibling names that sound nice with Oscar...

We have a gorgeous little boy called Oscar & I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant with our second child. We don't know the sex, & I'm looking for name inspiration please... :)

All of the names I mention to my hubby, he doesn't seem impressed by, but hasn't come up with many suggestions of his own!

I like names like:
Jacob, Isaac, Louis & Joseph for boys...
Sophia, Violet, Harriet & Eliza for girls...

What other names sound good as a sibling for Oscar? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

myotherusernameisbetter · 21/01/2015 22:03

Though I love Joe but not fussed on Joseph

Also don't like Josh....but then I don't really like Joshua either :o

Hakluyt · 21/01/2015 22:05

My niece and nephew are Oscar and Miranda- I alwqys think they sound nice together. But maybe that's because I'm so used to saying it.

montyandmabel · 21/01/2015 22:08

Haha, sorry Clueing!! It'd be boring if we were all the same though! :)

myother I love Joey for a young Joseph. Think that's so cute!! Joe works well for adults, teens or tinies. I'm not fussed on Josh/Joshua either!

Because Oscar is quite an "old" name, I'm wondering if other older names would best to go with it...but not sure if I'm overthinking it due to crazy hormone levels

montyandmabel · 21/01/2015 22:10

Hakluyt Until quite recently, Miranda was on my list...but a Miranda has started at my workplace & has ruined the name for me now, sadly. The one I know is just so arrogant that I couldn't use it. Thanks though :)
