Sibling names that sound nice with Oscar...

We have a gorgeous little boy called Oscar & I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant with our second child. We don't know the sex, & I'm looking for name inspiration please... :)

All of the names I mention to my hubby, he doesn't seem impressed by, but hasn't come up with many suggestions of his own!

I like names like:
Jacob, Isaac, Louis & Joseph for boys...
Sophia, Violet, Harriet & Eliza for girls...

What other names sound good as a sibling for Oscar? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

I wanted Joe but was vetoed as it would have caused some ructions regarding a black sheep relative in DHs family. I have a Keir instead.

Marissa maybe instead of Miranda?

I think we're the black sheep in hubby's family! well I am!!

I think Marissa may be a bit too modern compared to Oscar...thanks though.

Thank you for the Oscar & Lucinda info Laska, hadn't heard of that. Will deffo avoid now, even though Lucinda is a lovely name.

Do you think Oscar & Roscoe sound a bit similar?

I'm liking Hugo & Max, & would consider Charlotte if it wasn't my sis-in-law's name! the in-laws would really insist we'd named the baby after SIL if we used Charlotte, even though I liked the name before I even met my hubby!

Jago would be good. Then you have two names with a (different) celtic origin.

Haha Curly, can see what you mean about cat food commercial, but Felix is cute.

Jago was my slightly pervy kickboxing instructor a few years back, so that's put me off that name!!

My dp wanted felix as a name and I vetoed because of the cat food.

Max was also on our list.

What about Reuben?

I know and Oscar and isaac.

And including mine I.know three oscars with a brother called rudi/rudy. Luckily not all local.

Was going to suggest Harriet (Hattie?) when I began reading this but see it's already on your mind.
