Boy names...want something a little different but not too 'out there'

I'm looking for a name for a baby boy, something like Lex, Rex, Dexter, but not those actual names. Any ideas? I'm very worried about picking something too 'cool' as I named my 9yo DD something very different and, as I thought, cool, which went on to be seriously popular and I've heard described as 'chavvy' on here a million times! not that I give a shit haha

How about Dax? There is an actor called Dax, and the couple who were recently in the news due to having a prem baby whilst on holiday in America called him Dax. Not come across it otherwise, so I think too uncommon to be chavvy!

I think Dexter is definitely going the way you describe in your OP.

You seem to like names ending in X. Is Max to normal?

Names ending in O sound pretty cool to me ears:
Otto
Ludo
Milo

I saw baby Dax in the news, thought it was great but familiar...it's a hair product! Yes I love names with X in, don't know why. Any more suggestions? I quite like Felix from the list above.

Felix is great

Had chat with 16 year old son recently about names and how we nearly called him Caleb.
He thought that would have been really cool.
Not much like the names above! But I thought quite cool but not too unusual(.pr. Kaylib

There are twins called Dash and Axyl where I live, with an older brother called Rocky. All a bit different.

If I were a boy I would've been called Felix. Not too keen on it it makes me think of the cat food brand. I'm loving Blake and Simeon atm

Love the name Rex although not sure how it would sound on an old man.
