My dh is Swedish. We decided we would call our dd to be a Scandi name because his family asked and I happen to love the culture and think their names are beautiful. She is due on April 6th.

I am very keen on Agnetha (keen ABBA fan here and also beautiful name)
Love Agnetha.
I also like Heidi and Seren. Any other ideas? Flowers Wink

Just checking a friend's FB list - lots of these
Anna
Linda
Lena/Lina
Monika
Asa
Lotta
And Fanny.

These are probably really dated in Sweden now, of course.

There was a Heidi at DDs nursery, lovely name!

florascotia · 07/01/2015 15:38

Agnetha is very pretty and there are some other lovely names mentioned here.

But surely Heidi is German, rather than Scandinavian, and Seren is Welsh?
