Hello ladies :) I'm pregnant with non-identical twins (unknown genders) and we're stuck in the mud. Our current favourites are ~

Boys ~
Remus
Thomas
Castiel
Bronn
Wulfric
Ronald
Merlin
Stanley
Rogue
Percy
Azazel

Girls~
Circe
Paloma
Sansa
Minerva
Khaleesi

Honest opinions and suggestions would be lovely although be gentle, over emotional pregnant lady alert
Thank you x

For really nerdy, how about Leonard and Leslie?

(Leonard even sounds like 'nerd')

AryaOfHouseSnark · 02/12/2014 21:02

The only name I would avoid is khaleesi, I know it's popular because of game of thrones, but it's a title, not a name.
It just means wife of a horse lord, most Khals or horse lords "shared" their wives with the Khalisar and some even with their horses. Its not something I would want to name my daughter after.
Daenerys is nicer if you like the character.
Covgratulations, having twins is brilliant, my 2 are 4 Smile

Pelicangiraffe · 02/12/2014 21:02

Percy and Stanley go great

Wulfric and casteil

Also adore Paloma but would pair it with Remus

SleepyBug · 02/12/2014 21:03

Ooh I like Lucian! Will ask SO about this when he gets home.
The Khaleesi/Daenerys argument is one we've had a lot. I prefer Daenerys he likes Khaleesi. Went with Khaleesi because our surname begins with a D, Rogue and Azazel are also him. My favourites are Sansa, Castiel, Wulfric & Paloma. Keep them coming :)

Percy is, I assume, after the lightening thief?

How about Clarissa or Jace from Mortal Instruments?

Jocelyn is another one from that and I love Jocelyn.

Does he know about the Azazel/demon thing? I wouldnt name my child afer that!

AryaOfHouseSnark · 02/12/2014 21:08

I like Cersei, it's got a lovely sound to it. I actually prefer the GRRM spelling though.
If you are an asoiaf fan how about Allysane or Lyanna ?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/12/2014 21:10

Paloma is lovely but the meaning isn't

MuttonCadet · 02/12/2014 21:10

Oh, I assumed when I clicked you meant nerdy as in "intellectual" not just that you like to watch sci-fi.

On that basis, what about:

Alexander (Xander)
James
Giles
Angel
Willow

(I don't watch much any sci fi)

AryaOfHouseSnark · 02/12/2014 21:11

Or Arwen, I love Arwen.

Pelicangiraffe · 02/12/2014 21:12

Paloma and Cosmo

Paloma and Cassius

Pelicangiraffe · 02/12/2014 21:12

Jadzia (Dax - DS9)
Kara (Starbuck - battlestar)

StripedOss · 02/12/2014 21:19

Soraya was one of my favourite names from a book i read

SpottyTits · 02/12/2014 21:20

Castiel and Dean or maybe Crowley? Charlie? Destiel even? Grin

My DS is named for a spaceship and my daughter a vampire. I love nerdy names.

ZenNudist · 02/12/2014 21:21

Thomas and Paloma sounds good. Some of the rest are Shock, sorry...

How about Alexander nn Xander? Or is Buffy reference not your cup of tea?

southeastastra · 02/12/2014 21:22

keith and candice marie

AnathemaIsANiceNameForAGirl · 02/12/2014 21:23

Paloma is lovely but the meaning isn't

Why? It just means "dove", doesn't it? Is there some other connotation?

MsJupiter · 02/12/2014 21:25

What about Emrys rather than Merlin?

Methe · 02/12/2014 21:25

There all ok about from Rouge and Khaleesi.

Both of which are ridiculous and would be cruel.

puddymuddles · 02/12/2014 21:26

Morgana also fits in with your theme!

Merlin and Minerva sounds good.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/12/2014 21:27

Anathema: it means pigeon as well

mummybare · 02/12/2014 21:28

Arya, Brienne and Catelyn from GoT are nice names.

Also like Willow (Buffy) or Kara (Thrace from Battlestar Gallactica).

ThisFenceIsComfy · 02/12/2014 21:29

What about Ezekiel? Zeke (pronounced zeek) as nn

mummybare · 02/12/2014 21:31

For boys Brandon (Bran) or Edward/Eddard (Ned) could work? Or Fox (Mulder)?

Badvocinapeartree · 02/12/2014 21:32

Thomas and Sansa
