How many do you know? I really like it but don't want him to have to be Oscar H!

TIA

(btw I have already seen that it's number 7 apparently, but I haven't heard it in real life much)

I know 3 ages are 6, 4 1/2 & 8 months all very different types of parents.

Personally I think if you like the name then use it but my dd is called Amelia. Hmm

Farah33 · 02/10/2014 17:47

I know two Oscars, a 1 year old and an 8 year old.

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/10/2014 17:48

I know of quite a few under 5 where I live.

MrsBungle · 02/10/2014 17:50

I only know 1 who is 9.

JoanJettPack · 02/10/2014 17:55

I know 2. One is 3, the other 5.

smokeandglitter · 02/10/2014 18:02

I know 2 baby Oscars and 1 older one.

Love the name - not the popularity so much!

atticusclaw · 02/10/2014 18:05

I know an 11 year old, two nine year olds, two seven year olds and a 5 year old. It's very popular.

Mammanat222 · 02/10/2014 18:05

Don't know any in RL but know a few on some other mummy websites I go on!

magicalmrmistofelees · 02/10/2014 18:12

I know a 5 month old.

Kantha · 02/10/2014 18:16

I can think of 3, all aged between 7 and 5.

CharlesRyder · 02/10/2014 18:17

I think it depends a bit where you live. Where we were in the South East it literally felt like it was every other child in any playground. Where we are now in the West Country it seems much less common and DS is the only one in his school.

flowerygirl · 02/10/2014 18:35

I know about 5. Plus everytime I go to the park, I swear every child their is being called by Oscar too. Very popular! Lovely name though

TheRealMaryMillington · 02/10/2014 18:37

I know loads

It's popular because its ace

BreeVDKamp · 02/10/2014 18:39

Hmm. It IS lovely.

Charles that's interesting, I'm currently south east but will hopefully end up back in the south west!

All our girls choices are outside the top 50 but all the boys choices are super popular!

I do like Oscar though, I do indeed...

But is it the next Ben/Tom/Sam??????? There were FOUR Bens in 2 Sams in my tutor group at school and it just made things a bit dull.

AlleyCat11 · 02/10/2014 18:47

It started out as an alternative name. Now it's not cool.

Ludways · 02/10/2014 18:49

I know 5, they're 13, 9, 9, 6, 4.

The mother of the 13 year old is well knarked, lol

AugustaGloop · 02/10/2014 18:53

CharlotteInBlue · 02/10/2014 18:57
