Juno or Phoebe?

If you had to pick?

I've always loved phoebe but..

I work with someone who has a Phoebe and it sort of puts me off in case people think I've copied her!!

We also loved Grace and Isobel.

Noticed Juno on here and thought it was a lovely name with a nice meaning.

Don't want to choose a name and blame pregnancy hormones though!!

Dh likes both!

I'd say Phoebe but I have one.

amyhamster · 28/09/2014 15:28

I don't like Juno

Phoebe is quite popular

Love Grace

goodtimesinbontemps · 28/09/2014 15:29

June definitely, not mad on Phoebe.

sooperdooper · 28/09/2014 15:33

I like Juno and I've never met one irl, Phoebe is lovely but very popular

picnicbasketcase · 28/09/2014 15:35

Phoebe, because even though I like the idea of Juno, it sounds like you're saying 'do you know' and it reminds me of pregnant hipster teenagers.

ElephantsNeverForgive · 28/09/2014 15:45

Phoebe is a proper name, Juno sounds made up and I've no idea if it's a boy or a girls name.

Yes I know it's actually a Greek goddess and a perfectly valid name, but it's a bit hippy.

I like all of them!Grin

Bowlersarm · 28/09/2014 16:16

Juno. No question.

smokeandglitter · 28/09/2014 16:25

Phoebe - it's lovely.

Juno sounds ugly to my ears, it's the 'o' ending I think, and I can't hear it said in my head except in a really exaggerated American accent. Also it only seems to have gained huge popularity since the film.

CPtart · 28/09/2014 16:27

Phoebe is ok. Don't like Juno, sounds like a football chant! What about Juliet?

Wishfulmakeupping · 28/09/2014 16:28

Don't like either sorry just not my style of names but at a push Pheobe is slightly better

Melodygrace · 28/09/2014 16:30

Phoebe

SmatteringOfPatois · 28/09/2014 16:32

too many Phoebe's, go with Juno

MummyBeerest · 28/09/2014 16:33

I like them all too.

But Isobel and Grace more than Juno and Phoebe.

RiverTam · 28/09/2014 16:38

don't really like any of them, tbh, especially Grace, which I always think is such a harsh-sounding name.

If this kind of thing concerns you - Isobel, Grace and Phoebe are very popular names. Juno is coming from a very different direction!

Elephant - Juno is an ancient Roman goddess, wife of Jupiter, king of the gods.

HesterShaw · 28/09/2014 16:40

I love Juno. It's cool! Phoebe I've never been a fan of possibly because I taught one whose behaviour was atrocious

There are loads and loads of Isobels and Graces.

Squirm · 28/09/2014 17:13

Juno is great.

DertieBertie · 28/09/2014 18:02

I love both, probably slightly prefer jUno, but phoebe sounds lovely with your other names!

DertieBertie · 28/09/2014 18:06

I have no idea what happened with my capitalisation there! Also just realised Grace and Isobel aren't other DDs. My vote is for Juno.

PerryStar · 28/09/2014 18:13

I have a Juno Smile

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 28/09/2014 18:41

I'd go with Juno. There's too many Pheobes.

o0 · 28/09/2014 18:46

Love Juno.

I love Phoebe too as I have an old school friend with the name and she's kind, intelligent and beautiful, so it's impossible for me not to love her name.

Castlemilk · 28/09/2014 18:47

Juno is lovely. Rare, but very easy to pronounce, short, classy, unusual.

Phoebe is nice too but so much more popular, as is Grace.

Isobel is good. How about Isadora?

LynetteScavo · 28/09/2014 18:52

I love both.

I think it's a look at your baby, and decides which suits best situation.
