Only if it's one of twins.

SeptemberBabies · 25/09/2014 20:11

Thanks everyone :) Probably most positive reaction we've had to any of our choices so far.

longest - why only twins?
ireallydontlikemonday - yes, that's what made us think of it!

It's a bit wet.

The "and Hardy" reference was what longest was getting at. Twins, Laurel and Hardy.

unhappyfatmama · 25/09/2014 20:55

I know a laurel. A girl. I really like the name.

KatieKaye · 25/09/2014 20:58

I think it is a lovely name. A bit unusual and can be shortened to Laurie/Lori if you like nicknames.
It sounds very cool and classy.

BigfootFiles · 25/09/2014 20:58

I prefer Lauren. Or Lorelei?

EvilEmperorZurg · 25/09/2014 20:59

I did know someone who had a Laurel and Harvey! Love both names (though not together obv)

BigfootFiles · 25/09/2014 20:59

Or Lorelai, for that matter.

Pinkje · 25/09/2014 21:00

Boy or girl OP?

Siennasun · 25/09/2014 21:02

I like it. Also love Lorelei.
Lol at Laurel and Harvey.

WittyUsername102 · 25/09/2014 21:03

It's a girl.

ZenNudist · 25/09/2014 21:04

Love it

MuttonCadet · 25/09/2014 21:40

Love laurel, really don't like Lorelei (reminds me of the MM character in GPB, who was a bit of a gold-digger)

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/09/2014 21:45

I prefer Laura, the Latin form of Laurel. But then I also prefer the European pronunciation of Laura.

DramaAlpaca · 25/09/2014 23:06

I like Laurel, much prefer it to Lauren. But I like Laura better than either of them, and I agree with Alis that the European pronunciation of Laura is even nicer.

LittleprincessinGOLDrocks · 26/09/2014 00:04

I like Laurel, I considered it for DD.

mathanxiety · 26/09/2014 07:28

I love it.
