Sebastien

losthermind · 10/09/2014 11:55

I like torin

Dirtymistress · 10/09/2014 11:55

Torin sounds like torrid.
Sebastian makes me think of hippies and poniesGrin

Vintagejazz · 10/09/2014 11:57

Sebastian, definitely.

minkah · 10/09/2014 11:57

Sebastian is lovely, but seb or sebby really, to my ears, is not lovely.

Torin, I never heard it before. So to me it sounds like a product at ikea.

Glenshee · 10/09/2014 11:58

Sebastian. It's nice and sophisticated but not difficult.

I never heard of Torin before so it would be too unusual for my liking.

Alisvolatpropiis · 10/09/2014 12:09

I'm not awfully keen on Seb/Sebby.

Don't think Bastian would work in the UK either.

I quite like how unusual Torin is, Irish Gaelic for chief. Though it really does sound very Scandinavian.

DH thinks Sebastian is "flouncy". Has also flat out vetoed Gabriel.

Prefer Torin.

ThursdayLast · 10/09/2014 15:43

Prefer Torin.
Wouldn't choose either personally.

SomeSunnySunday · 10/09/2014 16:30

I love Torin. If DC3 had been a boy we would have used this, but we're fairly sure she's a girl...

Sophronia · 10/09/2014 16:30

Definitely Torin.

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 10/09/2014 16:30

Sebastian by far

Takver · 10/09/2014 16:35

I think Torin is great.

ralinax294 · 10/09/2014 17:14

Lunastarfish · 10/09/2014 18:37

Torin sounds like a made up name to me.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 10/09/2014 19:35

Sebastian nn Seb

Allalonenow · 10/09/2014 19:38

Sebastian

Or how about Balthazar?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/09/2014 19:39

Never heard of Torin - I like it. I like Sebastian but hate Seb - I understand why your dh describes it as, 'flouncy' though.

camtt · 10/09/2014 19:40

Torin, I know one, wouldn't think it a made up name

Alisvolatpropiis · 10/09/2014 19:42

Allalonenow

Don't take this the wrong way - are you my mum? She also recently suggested Balthazar, which is why I ask.
