So depressed by the lack of interesting boys names!

Due in 9 weeks, and every boys name I hear bores me to tears!

Not interested in cutesy little boy names (Alfie/Archie/Charlie) and absolutely no 'Thomas the Tank Engine' names (Edward, Henry, James, etc).

Impress me with something a wee bit different!

Sounds like a good principle Red Smile You've got to go with your own judgement at the end of the day! I want a cool name that when my DS is older he'll be dead proud of or a least, not totally hate, but it's such a hard task!

Know what you mean. I have an Oliver and 7 years ago knew not one. Now...they are everywhere. It seems that every first time mum I meet thinks they are being a bit different naming their baby Oliver without realising it (until they enter and soft play or theme park) that Oliver's are everywhere.

The only name I quite like at the moment is Monty but my DH wouldn't even entertain it.
