If I like Noah, but probably not enough to actually go for it, what else might I like?

Noah's great but I'm not totally sold. Nearly ready to utterly admit defeat and give this baby the cat's name.

Any ideas?

Are you just thinking a Old Testament names?

Moses?

WhatTheHellDoWeCallThisBaby · 10/08/2014 23:09

Thanks, I like Eli/Elijah a lot but close friends have gone for these so they're off the table (I know no one "owns" a name or anything but it'd be weird). Jonah has been on my list for ages but my husband isn't keen, thinks we'd basically end up with a son called Jo/Joe (he means no offence to Joes!).

Cole I absolutely hate, sorry!

No, not set on biblical at all (our first child is called Leo). Open to all suggestions...

Isaac

lokijet · 10/08/2014 23:13

I went with Noah but nearly had Felix and chose Arthur as middle name

WhatTheHellDoWeCallThisBaby · 10/08/2014 23:14

I must be so predictable! I like Caleb (nn Cal) but again husband not keen. Ethan's lovely but my usually normal MIL made a totally random comment a couple of weeks about what a terrible name it is (we haven't discussed any name ideas with her or anyone else, it really was random), which took the shine off slightly...

Isaac is probably my favourite. I keep mentioning it to husband and he's a bit meh about it. I hate Zach but think Ike is massively cute as a nn

I have an Isaac and also like Noah, but wouldn't use the latter I think.
