If I like Noah, but probably not enough to actually go for it, what else might I like?

Noah's great but I'm not totally sold. Nearly ready to utterly admit defeat and give this baby the cat's name.

Any ideas?

I know a Noah and he has siblings called Toby and Theo (although too similar to your elder child's name probably).

Isaiah? Part Isaac part Noah Smile

What's stopping you liking noah? Only the fact it's coming more popular?

TightyMcTight · 11/08/2014 07:41

On my list with Noah are Theo, Lucas, Isaac and the curve ball of Cassian.

I have a Noah. Big part of the appeal for me was that it was unusual (in Ireland) at the time but has risen from 46 to 10 in the baby names list here since then :(

Expecting number 3 now and front runner is Luca but also like Leo, Teddy, Jake, Louis, Senan (Irish name) and Jasper.

Luca the only one I love as much as Noah but have to convince DH!

You lot are good at this. Love Isaiah but I'm strangely put-off because there's no obvious shortened version (I know for lots of people this would be a big plus!). Milo is great but maybe a bit rhyme-y with Leo? Love Luca too babyblabber, and my husband really likes Asa Sophronia - I think it looks lovely but our surname has a prominent 's' sound so not sure it works.

Also lovely to hear about lots of other little Leos or potential ones :) I really love my son's name and haven't ever had second thoughts, and it feels like there's a lot of pressure to get it "right" again because of this.

The ones I was going to suggest have already been mentioned - Caleb, Elijah, Reuben, Nathaniel.

Leo was on our shortlist along with:
Christian
Dominic
Anthony
Joseph
Dylan
Marcus
Daniel
Ciaran
Zachary

Also like Drew, Justin, Rowan, Tobias, Jared, Owen, Alex, Joel.

And if I was a little braver - Silas, Cornelius or Linus! Smile
