Do you know many?

I like quirky type names.

I had a great aunt queenie. She died when I was a child so I never knew if it was her real name, or a nickname. But everyone just called her queenie and it worked! (queenie fan here - can you tell?)

I absolutely love it and it's in my list. I love the east end origins. Totally winner in my book x

It's lovely and unusual, and I can totally imagine her being a VIP with that name. PM, doctor, professor, international trapeze artist etc.

Op what other names are on your list?

MsVenus · 25/07/2014 19:20

It's an old scouse expression of affection like love, darling or sweetheart.

It is not a name and just sounds very common & try hard.

threepiecesuite · 25/07/2014 19:25

I was going to mention Bridie too as I used to know sisters called Queenie and Bridie.
Good old scouse names.
