Jane and Elizabeth was most popular in my group of friends (I felt very left out - mine was quite unusual then, but now every little girl seems to have the same middle name as me, so my parents were clearly 30 years ahead of their time - was born in the late 70s)

MrsJohnDeere · 20/06/2014 13:15

Jane 1970s

Hate it!

NadiaWadia · 20/06/2014 13:55

Mid sixties here. Most girls had Ann/Anne, Mary/Marie, Jane or Elizabeth. Or Louise. Anne was the most popular. I remember one girl had Audrey and I felt a bit sorry for her having such an old-fashioned middle name. Now I think it's lovely!

Titsalinabumsquash · 20/06/2014 13:57

Louise (late 80's)

PresidentSpreadable · 20/06/2014 14:36

Louise (1974)

DiamondsAndRust · 20/06/2014 14:39

Early '80s: Louise, Jane, Kate, Elizabeth, Claire

Northumberlandlass · 20/06/2014 14:48

My sister & I have both have 'of the time' middle names. Jane & Louise (born early to mid 1970's). I find it odd they gave such mainstream middle names & rare(ish) first names. Parents eh?! Smile

DanyStormborn · 20/06/2014 22:23

Louise - 80's

NunsArePeopleTooDougal · 20/06/2014 22:25

Inkspellme · 21/06/2014 08:44

60's Ireland. Mary ( yes, sometimes even the boys!)

CarmineRose1978 · 21/06/2014 09:27

My mum went for Denise because she said everyone else picked Louise or Jane.

CarmineRose1978 · 21/06/2014 09:28

That was in the late 1970s.

AnonButRegular · 21/06/2014 09:28

Born in 94, 'Leigh'. It's my middle name and the middle name of so many of my friends born in the same year Grin

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 26/06/2014 02:19

My parents were born 1970 and their middle names have been mentioned here Grin think I'm the first in my family to go slightly original with middle names Grin

NadiaWadia · 26/06/2014 02:31

Your parents were born 1970? Why aren't you in bed, you must have school in the morning?

(No, I know the dates make sense really, just you are making me feel very old! Grin)

justhayley · 26/06/2014 03:35

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 26/06/2014 09:32
